After what seems like weeks of wet weather, we finally have a dry day and head off to the park to stretch our legs.
Regular readers will know that we have, during our walks around Carlisle, been collecting images of the ceramic tiles incorporated into the new flood defences
Over the last few months we have been spotting on our walks a number of painted tiles built into the new Carlisle flood defences.
Venturing in to the park this morning it is fantastic to see all the flowers and plants taking full advantage of the spring sunshine.
Over the past few weeks we have become aware of a few new signs appearing on our walks. Made in the form of ceramic tiles the small graphical artworks depict a local landmark or the extent of the Carlisle floods in 2005.
