My name is Buster and with my humans I started to record online my adventures in early 2007.

A Blog From My Dog started as a bit of fun, as I looked at the world from my end of the lead.

Over the years A blog from my dog has embraced Twitter, where we currently have over 90 followers and we have constantly changed the format of the website to accommodate all of our  adventures.

You can read all about the technical aspects of how we built this website here.

These days I have a companion in the fluff ball called Charlie.  He has taken over much of the general running of the house, whilst I can become a man of leisure.

Our profiles

Buster – I am a Wheaton, Scotty, Yorkshire terrier Hybrid. I could design a new breed title here of  Worksky.

For many years I was thought of as a very big Yorkshire Terrier, I even have a pedigree certificate that says I am. However, the vet recently carried out some tests as a result of a claggy eye problem I was having and she discovered I was in part, a Scotty dog.

Fireworks scare me as do small ladies with thick dark rimmed glasses.

Earlier in my years I have been a Pets as Therapy member and have a medal on my collar to prove it.

Charlie – Is a blue roan cocker spaniel.

He has a natural in-built water detector and can find a stream or river almost anywhere.

Being a cocker he is as mad as a brush but very loyal to our humans.

Charlie’s paws are enormous and dad says they always smell comforting.

Dad has nick-named Charlie ‘five sniffs’ due to the anaesthetic qualities he seems to give off.  One of his tricks is to snuggle up when mum or dad are on the sofa and within minutes they will be asleep.

Carrots have always featured highly in Charlie’s top ten of vegetables.  He must eat hundreds of them in a year.

In winter carrots make way for Brussel sprouts. Nothing quite beats a straight from the fridge sprout to get your teeth into.
