Today was going to be our day for adventure regardless of rain, snow, wind or frost and we both played up until we had our leads on.

A changeable pattern of weather over the last few days led to quite a bit of localised flooding in north Cumbria on Saturday and disruption to our expedition schedule.
Although a little cloudy, obscuring the view a little, it would appear that work is well underway to dismantle the old Caldbeck television mast.
Wide open spaces and plenty of fresh air was what was needed on Sunday and so we headed to the Silloth and Allonby.
Today we were going to go for a short walk through the woods at the edge of Kingstown, north of Carlisle.
