Hawick in Scotland was to be our destination on Saturday as we headed north up the A7 through Longtown and in to the wide open spaces of the debatable lands.

Gliding in the sky the unusual sight of a hot air balloon. These are fairly common in south Cumbria but to see the Virgin hot air balloon over the streets of Carlisle was quite a sight.
We are pleased that our canine comrade Harvey has returned with a new advertisement, this time he is staring with his best friend Rabbit.
Whilst out shopping today at our local Dobbies garden centre mum spotted a small grey freezer, filled with Billy + Margot ice treat for dogs.
Today was one of those moments when, we spotted this sign proclaiming that Carlisle, A City given that it has a cathedral, has or is, a learning village.
Drumbrugh in north Cumbria was where we headed for our walk a few days ago and we were not disappointed.
